A Festive Christmas Eve Wander (With a Donkey & Santa Hats!)

It’s Christmas Eve, late morning, and already a balmy 11°c with sunshine – we saw worse days in August! That said, we donned our Christmas hats and walking boots, and did our local 3.8 mile circular, along with our neighbours, with a short stop made to say hello to a local donkey. Well, it is an integral part to the Christmas story after all!

I just wanted to wish all my lovely subscribers, regular readers and contributors, a very Happy Christmas. I can’t wait to read about what you all get up to over the festive break! We’ve made a point to plan nothing and just see how each day goes with the weather, but I’ll update you all on that in the new year! Wherever you are, thanks for joining us on our blog, and we hope you have a super Christmas and a Happy New Year, from me and the family 🎅🤶🧑‍🎄🧑‍🎄.

    1. Thanks Mélodie. We had a lovely Christmas break, with some nice walks thrown in, between the storms, rain and fog haha 🙂 I hope we have some more exciting news for 2025 which, if all goes smoothly, I’ll announce soon! I hope you had a nice Christmas too?
